Wow. So now I am reading about pharmacists refusing to dispense prescribed contraceptive medication because of their own personal beliefs regarding contraception. (Catholic pharmacists no doubt.)
Thats kind of a sticky one.
They have a right to their beliefs. I think they should be able to express them. But I don’t think the “non-believers” should be denied access to the medication. And I’d personally find myself rather offended if some pharmacist presumed to lecture me on contraceptive use… I mean, we all have our own beliefs, and I don’t see what makes mine any more or less valid than yours.
Thats why this is supposed to be a State and not a Church.
